.ASIA IDN Sunrise Policies FINAL DRAFT Released

FINAL DRAFT for the .Asia IDN Sunrise Policies has been released. This document sets out the Sunrise policies and Landrush and Go-Live processes for the launch of IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) registrations in the .ASIA Registry. These policies and process are designed to ensure an orderly and equitable allocation of domains to qualified parties before the Registry is opened for general IDN registrations (i.e. Go-Live).

These documents provide a brief overview of the .ASIA IDN Sunrise Process.

.Asia IDN Landrush Period

The .Asia IDN Landrush Period has ended. Stay tuned for Go-Live!

Aug 2 to Oct 29, 2011

Based on feedback from registrars - especially in the Chinese community, due to the long National holidays just prior to the original scheduled close of the .ASIA CJK IDN Landrush on Oct 11, the Landrush period will remain open for an additional 18 days ending on Oct 29.
